Ralph Cook Memorial Scholarship
The Ralph Cook Memorial Scholarship is named in honor of the late Judge Ralph Cook — father of Kelli Mahoney and father-in-law of foundation President Ryan Mahoney — who passed away unexpectedly in a car accident. Judge Cook was a man of integrity and deep love for his family. This scholarship is our way of honoring his memory and ensuring his legacy continues to open doors for young people in our community.
Each year, Rio Vista Youth Sports Foundation awards two full scholarships — up to $1,000 each — for Rio Vista-area students to attend a college-hosted summer sports camp. These camps are an incredible opportunity to get coached at a high level, experience real college facilities, and get in front of coaches who matter for recruiting.

Club Sports Scholarship
Rio Vista doesn't have year-round club sports in town — but a 40-minute drive opens up almost unlimited options, from baseball to volleyball to swimming. If your athlete has real aspirations of competing at a high level, club sports are often how that happens.
We get it. We also know club programs aren't cheap.
The Club Sports Scholarship covers 100% of seasonal or annual club dues for one year for a Rio Vista-area athlete who is committed to pursuing a club sport but needs financial help getting there. If you and your athlete are ready to commit, we want to help make it possible.
Requirements:
-
Rio Vista or Isleton area youth
-
Any age · Any sport
-
Must be joining a legitimate club or travel sports program
-
Applicants selected at the discretion of the board
